TherewasatimeinmylifewhenIthoughtIhadeverythingfiguredout.Iwasyoungandambitious,andIhadaccomplishedthingsthatmanypeoplemyagecouldonlydreamof.Iwasproudofmyachievements,andIworethatprideonmysleeve.IthoughtthatIwasinvincible,thatnothingcouldbringmedown.Butasitturnsout,lifehasawayofhumblingeventhemostconfidentofus.ThisisthestoryofhowIlearnedtoletgoofmyprideandembracehumility.

Itallstartedwithapromotion.Ihadbeenworkingatthesamecompanyforafewyears,andIhadworkedmywayuptheranks.Whentheopportunityforapromotioncamealong,Ijumpedatit.Iwasexcitedaboutthenewchallengesthatwouldcomewiththejob,andIwaseagertoprovemyself.
